On a parent workspace, the Receivables invoice list includes invoices that belong to child entities you can access. Open a child invoice without switching tenant in the nav, then move it if needed.
1. See child invoices on the parent list
- Select the parent entity in the account menu.
- Open Receivables → Invoices.
- Rows include receivables whose document tenant is a child you have view invoice receivables permission for.
Cortena does not automatically switch your selected tenant when you open a child row.
2. Other-entity note and move
When the invoice belongs to a different entity than your current selection:
- An amber Other tenant note explains that the invoice belongs to another workspace.
- The entity name in that note is underlined.
- Click it to open Search entity… and move the invoice to another entity in the hierarchy (you need edit permission and more than one eligible target).
This matches the payables other-tenant pattern.
3. Create and forward into the tree
When creating or forwarding a payable to a receivable, you can pick a child (or sibling) target from the multi-entity tree where your permissions allow. Hierarchy is configured under Settings → Multi-Entity Configuration.
Tips and limitations
- You need receivable permissions on both source and target entities to move.
- Workflow assignees can include users from child entities when you edit on the parent (see your workflow setup).
