# DATEV Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen

Order the free DATEV Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen, assign SmartLogin rights, then connect in Cortena.

DATEV **Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen** is **not** part of the default DATEV suite. Someone with access to **DATEV Rechnungswesen** must order it manually from **DATEV Arbeitsplatz** (with the MIdentity stick). After ordering and assigning SmartLogin rights, users can connect the Datenservice login inside Cortena.

**Who this is for:** DATEV Rechnungswesen administrators and tax advisors who need Cortena to sync chart of accounts, open items, evaluations, or account postings via Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen.

## Prerequisites

- Access to **DATEV Rechnungswesen** and a DATEV **MIdentity** stick to order from DATEV Arbeitsplatz.
- SmartLogin users cannot order the product themselves unless they also have Arbeitsplatz / ordering rights.

## 1. Order from DATEV Arbeitsplatz

1. Open **DATEV Arbeitsplatz**.
2. In the right sidebar **Programmwahl**, open the **Programm öffnen** tab.
3. Click **Service-Anwendungen** (gear / globe icon).

4. You land on the DATEV service applications portal: [apps.datev.de/service-anwendungen](https://apps.datev.de/service-anwendungen/?source=onprem).
5. From there, go to the **DATEV Shop** and order the **free** product **DATEV Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen**.

When ordering, select **Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen** and the modules you need, for example:

- **Stammdaten** (master data)
- **Offene-Posten-Liste/Geschäftspartner** (open items / business partners)
- **Auswertungen Export** (reports export)
- **Kontobuchungen** (account postings)

## 2. Assign SmartLogin rights

After the product is ordered, a **DATEV Rechnungswesen administrator** must grant the SmartLogin user who will connect DATEV with Cortena the rights for **Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen**.

1. Open DATEV rights administration: [apps.datev.de/rvo-administration](https://apps.datev.de/rvo-administration/).
2. Find the SmartLogin user who will authenticate Cortena.
3. Assign permissions for **Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen** (and the modules you ordered).

Without these rights, the SmartLogin user cannot complete the login inside Cortena even if the product was ordered.

## 3. Connect in Cortena

Once ordering and SmartLogin rights are done:

1. In Cortena go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Open the DATEV / Datenservice Export Rechnungswesen connection for your tenant.
3. Sign in with the SmartLogin user that received the rights above.

## Tips & limitations

- The Datenservice is **ordered separately**. It is not included automatically with DATEV Rechnungswesen.
- Ordering requires **DATEV Arbeitsplatz** + **MIdentity stick**. SmartLogin alone is not enough to place the shop order.
- After ordering, **rights assignment** in DATEV Rechteverwaltung is a separate step before Cortena login works.
